Prayer and Worship
As a Pastor (but actually regardless of your “position” in your church), I have this recurring fear… not fear in the sense of emotional fear, but a fear of God… a reverence… a knowing in my gut that we must do what is right with God… a nightmare if you will… that week after week, year after year, decade after decade, we show up for Sunday service...
Read and meditate upon the scriptures. Think about what information is included, what it means, and how you can apply it to your life. Be sure to journal your thoughts!

"I was admitted into in-patient psychiatric help, and that was when I received my first diagnosis... just my everyday life was very confusing... I kept coming in and out of the hospital for about two years.
Being able to learn who I am in Christ has shifted my entire reality..." —
Think and journal your answers to the following questions to go deeper into today's scripture and meditation.
Why do you think the message to Ephesus in Revelation 2:1-7 is so serious?
Why was God so displeased with them concerning them leaving their first love?
What do you think Ephesus needed to do in order to repent?
With a posture of love and humility, create a prayer list of things the Lord puts upon your heart to pray for your home church so the Lord will truly be their first love. Pray specifically for the leaders as well as for all that are apart of that Church family.
Pray for the state of God's Church in the nations that they also would come to a place where the Lord truly becomes their first love!
