Gospel Mission Training (GMT)

BIBLICAL PARADIGM

GMT returns to the biblical paradigm of leadership development found in the way of Christ and His disciples.

MENTORING

GMT values and builds upon the Paul-Timothy Model of training found in 2 Timothy 2:2 and does this in the central context of the local Church.

ACADEMIC CREDIT

GMT enables leaders to earn *academic credit for in-service learning without having to leave their home churches and invest in outside seminary education.

GMT comprehensively assesses all aspects of the development of leaders in the areas of character, knowledge, and skill.

COMPREHENSIVE ASSESMENT

If Paul came to your city to establish a church, how would he train its leaders?

LOOK AT TIMOTHY.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The general objective of Ministry degrees is to help train those who desire to be part of a leadership and ministry team that is one-minded in ministry vision and philosophy. Out of this team would come those who commit themselves long term to local church leadership or those who desire to train to be part of a missionary team involved in planting or establishing churches in other areas.

The general objective of Theology degrees is to help train those who desire to understand thoroughly the unfolding message of Scripture itself as a guidebook for life and ministry, paying special attention to the implications of that message in one's personal life, ministry, and culture.

WHAT WE DO

COURSE WORK

Course modules help students employ the New Testament as a manual for church development, particularly through the keys taught in the Book of Acts and the Pauline Epistles.

LIFE & MINISTRY DEVELOPMENT

It's all about developing people grounded in a deep understanding of God’s design of who they are and what they are called to do. We deploy extensive mentoring and evaluation done by church leaders using biblical qualifications for ministry.

MINISTRY PRACTICUM

Ministry Practicum is all about experiential learning.  It's about learning  by actually being engaged in ministry and learning through guided experience.

TEACHING PRACTICUM

Teaching Practicums are opportunities to learn through substantial teaching experiences coupled with personal reflection and assessment.

MENTORING

Our school values build upon the Paul-Timothy Model of training found in 2 Timothy 2:2. It's about apprentices learning from mature, seasoned leaders in the context of trusted relationships.
